This restaurant branding Franklin project was to update the branding for Franklin Juice Co., an organic juice company in Franklin, Tennessee. Their team hired us to evaluate their existing branding, strategize and design their environmental branding, and support them with ongoing graphic design in order to set them up for success with future franchises.

To start off the project, we strategized a personality for the Franklin Juice Co. brand. We created a brand board with fonts, colors, and images that established an overarching style for their brand.

Logo Update

With the visual direction established, we started working on updating the logo. The logo they opened with was created by a freelance designer, and it was well-loved by our clients. To update it, we added a new, vintage-y style font in with the icon. The script font was a nod to the vintage food truck Franklin Juice Co. runs.

Once the logo was finalized, a set of logo files and logo guidelines was delivered to ensure the logo was implemented properly throughout all of their branding.

Brand Strategy

Next, we helped out with some of their business strategy. We created the hashtag #juicehead to increase user engagement and bring out the brand voice online. Next up was the photoshoot: Franklin Juice Co. really needed some on-brand lifestyle photography. The resulting images were implemented throughout their social media, in-store graphics, and on their business cards.

Our next goal was to create appealing visuals that would create a positive user experience during the environmental branding phase. We first thought through the customer journey, and then worked to infuse the brand through each touchpoint.

We updated everything: interior colors, counter material, seating, and signage. We created a presentation of our plan for our clients to implement as their business expanded and their budget grew.

Restaurant Branding Franklin Food Truck Wrap

Franklin Juice Co. had started out as a food truck – a super cool vintage one. We created graphics that supported the style of their truck and kept a focus on the brand name. We added the new brand icon, slogan, icon pattern, and typographic logo to the truck with vinyl to showcase the brand on the road.

While we developed the design for the truck, we also worked on creating a tagline: “Keep Pressing On.” We wanted the tagline to communicate the healthy ingredients Franklin Juice Co. uses, as well as their dedication to pressing juice all day long.

Restaurant Branding Franklin Graphic Design Support

As we finished up our work for Franklin Juice Co., we developed the in-store menu, product labels, window graphics, and supporting signage.

The new menu design organized their menu items and pricing in a concise and clear way.

The new branding was also implemented into new juice labels and onto an infographic for the interior window that divided the juicing kitchen area from the customer-facing space. This infographic showed the whole juicing process, highlighting how and why Franklin Juice Co.’s process is unique.
